Default Tubular Bed Rails

Does anyone know if the tubular bed rails (19172753) can be used at the same time as the bed rail protectors (17802474).

Im inquiring for the 2009 Sierra.

yeah they both will work together as far as i know on that yr, you may have to modify your bed cap protectors depending on how the rails attach, but i have both chrome on my truck and they look good, i just had to cut the stake pocket holes out of the protectors to fit the rails down into the stake pockets. and they even came with rubber gaskets for the rails so they even look really professional and everything, mine is an 02 sierra...

Thats what I wanted to hear. I figured they would work, and that I might need to trim the protectors somewhat, which I am okay with. The bed rail protectors are in the mail, next paycheck ill order the tubes. Ill post back with details when I do the install.

I honestly think its pretty useless to have rail bars and protectors, but I second the above.
You can make it work, especially if you have the pocket holes already in the rail protectors.
