Default Tune-up and other questions

Hey all, this is my first 'real' post. I am going to do a tune-up to my truck tomorrow. I plan on addressing the following:
  • Plugs and wires
  • PCV
  • Fuel Filter
  • Clean TB and MAF
Anything else I should check out? Also what do you recommend to use to clean the TB and MAF?

And my other question is, the other day my airbag light came on, took it to the shop to get the code pulled, no code for the airbag, however there was a code for the EVAP. I had no CEL, and then we noticed that the CEL is not working, not even on start up. Can I fix this or is it a problem in the cluster? Also can the EVAP be cleaned or does it need replaced?

Thanks for any tips.

Mike

got the tune-up done today, replaced plugs n wires, Cleaned the MAF and TB. She's running great. I have a few other things that I need to address though.
My airbag light is on and message center says Check air bag but has no code.
also my CEL is not working but the code in the PCM says EVAP Purge valve, so I need to address that.

Also, I tried to get a fuel filter and a PCV valve, but they aren't available for my truck. Stores computer says my truck doesn't have a PCV and the fuel filter is 'not serviceable' guy said it is in the fuel tank.

Any ideas on the PCV and fuel filter?

Thanks
Mike

I am not sure if it is a stored code or not, but my CEL doesn't come on at startup, so I'm pretty sure the bulb is out.

The PURGE VALVE is located on top of the intake manifold in front near the throttle body. It costs about 45 bucks. Do you notice a gassy smell while its running?

Well have the codes cleared and see if it pops up again. Mine was saying the same thing one time, and it turned out to be a popped fuse under the hood.
