hey all...i have an 88 throttle body motor that i want to put a set of vortec heads off a 97 chevy on. i know i need a new intake which GM sells for about $350 but is that all i need to do the swap?? has any one done this swap before?? any help is appreciated..thankyou

 

I just did the swap and yes it makes a diffrence. while ur at it might as well do a cam job. Just my opionion

 

I agree with tayoz00. When I did my 91 a cam would have helped alot. I had it chipped, but a cam would have been better for performance gains. Plus you already have it apart anyways.
