I'm doing some research on lifts. I was wondering if some people could list what lift they have on their truck, how it rides, quality, just basically if you like it and are glad you got that brand, or if you wish you went with something else.

BDS 6.5 "High Clearance" lift (combined with Cognito UCA and steering supports).

Couldn't be happier, BDS has some great stuff, I REALLY dig their kit that doesn't drop the torsion bars down below the frame, and they have a lifetime warranty.

I personally don't ever want a lift that requires running the torsion bars dropped way down below the cab, I just hate that, think it looks dumb and it reduces clearance.

Check them out, prices aren't too bad either.

6" RCD lift. When it was first installed it rode very smooth. Unfortunately, my 35's were rubbing up front and I had to get new lift keys and new leaf springs to level out the truck. Now it feels like the shocks are over pressurized. Anyways, the RCD kit rides great.

2002 Silverado Z71 extended cab on 6'' Procomp with MX6 shocks all the way around. 35x20-14.50 Swamper IROCs. With the shocks as soft as I can set them, i can take a curb at 30mph and barely feel it. Great ride, tires are loud but help with the bumps.
