Default What should I do?

Currently I have a 98 Sierra and I am looking at putting on a muffler or dual exhaust or something like that to make it sound better. I want it loud but I don't want it loud as possible. I have no idea where to start. Any help, tips, or recommendations would be great.

Thanks

A simple flowmaster or other performance muffler swap is the most common and most economical. Flowmaster and others have different muffler designs to give you the sound level you are looking for. You can just replace the factory muffler, muffler back with some tips, or a complete exhaust system. If you are looking just for the sound and aren't building a high horsepower machine the difference in performance is going to be very slight between the 3 options above. You can always just have the muffler swapped and drive like that for a while to see if your happy with it, if not you can add more (Headers, free flowing cats, different tip designs, etc). I would talk with your local muffler shop to get an idea of what your going after.
