1947 fargo truck

Question 1947 fargo truck

hi im new here and im just wondering if somone could help me? i have a 1947 fargo im trying to put diffrent brake pads in it on the rear hubs but i cant get the hubs off! i toke the nut off the main shaft and thats all you do right? i tried hammering it off i tried to get it off with a puller i made and i even heated it up but it just wont come off is there anything that im missing? thanks

If you can post a picture of your hub/drum, I'm sure that you'll get all the help that you need.

How big is this old beauty ??? Hydraulic brakes or air??? Have you tried turning back your brake adjustments ???

i will try and get some pics for ya! and ya i loosened off the adujstment for the brakes and its hydralic.

it had a 6 cylinder in it! its for a school project we are putting a 350 in it

I'd still love to see picture of not only the rear hubs but the hole truck too.
BTW It's been a year... did you ever get the drums off yet

Does it have the 10 Lug wheels, or the big 5 or 6 lug?
