Did chevy have two front clips for the 1980? I know their was two headlights, round and square with full chrome bezels. The front fender side marker was vertical on the 80 and the 81 went horizontal. Is it possible for an '80' to have a high production number with 13 character vin have the 81 front?

Guy on Craigslist has an '80' with a stick but has a looks to me a 81 front clip on it.
