How many miles is on the truck. $4000 seems high for no ac and a 16 year old dodge.

294k on a dodge dakota with no ac i would say $2000 out the door would be more like it. Low retail is $2150 and high retail $3675.

k thanks a lot for the advice, i will see what i can do to bring the price down a bit. just out of curiousity why is a/c so important? is it not just as easy to open the windows?

Yes you can open a window but the ac on trucks is what makes them worth more. Plus buying a truck with close to 300k miles on it is just looking for trouble. Hope that helps.
