Default help me out please... spark plug wiring

hey i just ordered new spark plugs and i was wondering if anyone could help me with how to install the new plugs and wires...

What year and engine is your Dakota?

For the most part, you remove the wires and replace them one at a time not to mess up the firing order..the plugs you just remove with a spark plug socket, check the gap listed in the owners manual or on your emissions sticker on the new plugs, and thread them in tight, but not too tight as you dont want to strip the threads.

I hope this helps. I take it you are completely new to any type of mechanical work?

its a 2006 SLT 3.7 V6. actually i did already switch the plugs, i didn't change the wires tho.. idk if i need to. they look pretty bad tho so I'm not sure if i can still do it or no?? but yea i am somewhat new at it, my friends dad is a mech. and he helps me out a little when he can
