2001 DODGE RAM 1500 SIMPLE PROBGLEM I CANT FIGURE OUT!

I crashed my truck and am in the prossses of fixing....In between the radiator and oil cooler there is a aluminim cooling system can someone tell me what this is? ....is it the trans cooler?

the lines go in both right near the passenger but more towrds the middle of the truck up behind the dash ...Is that where the trans lines are supose to run....
