Has anyone removed their stock air suspension kit in their 1500 Ram? I've got some leaky air bags and have seen a lot of common problems with the compressor freezing up because liquid can get inside in leak. Once it freezes, they lock in the lowered position and ride extremely stiff. This mostly starts happening when the truck is riding in aero mode, 60+ mph. Someone even mentioned they're on their 3rd replacement... so I reached out and found a shop that would get rid of the air system & codes and put in some Bilstein 5100's at stock height. My question is has anyone done this and been happy with the difference?
