Ball Joint replacement 2004 2500 heavy duty 4x4
After replacing both front sides with new hub bearings I found that I need ball joints at least on the driver side. I will however replace both sides.
Do I have to remove the front hub assembly which I just replaced in order to remove and replace upper and lower ball joints (and would it get damaged coming off if so?) or just the brake parts? Will anything else need to be removed? I will be able to use a lift with all kinds of tools available.
I also bought greasable ball joints since they seem to last longer.
Please respond as soon as possible because I plan to work on this truck on Sunday 7/3 and only have a 5 hour span for use of the lift. Anyone's help will certainly be appreciated. Thank you.
