Hi, I am having a problem with my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab. The fan on the heater/ac stopped working. I checked the fuses and they are good. The ac light will light up but the fan wont work. Is it a problem with the controls or the fan. It will not work on any setitng, so I figure it cant be the fan, well maybe I am wrong. How do I start troubleshooting the problem?

 

Get a test light..spend a FEW bucks on a decent craftsman one...(not a dollar store one)...

unplug the blower motor and check for power and ground at it,,,,if you have both,the motors bad!

your welcome...your using the test light in place of the motor...if you have power and ground to lite the tester,you have it to run the motor
