hvac question

Wink hvac question

i have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 3.9, the question i have is when i'm driving down the road with the a/c blowing,and i excelerate, the a/c stops flowing until i release the gas pedal, does anybody here know what the problem could be ? any help would be appreciated ... thanks

The BLOWER stops when you accelerate ??? or The COLD air stops (warmer) air during accelerate

nothing comes out of the vent at all ,until you release up on the gas pedal...

This is a puzzler The only thing I can think of is a electrical issue, the centrifugal force is enough to open that connection.

I am not familiar with the Dodge systems, but does the A/C use engine vacuum to control flow? I would be looking for a bad line or check valve if it does. Just a guess.

I own a 94 dodge 318 and I had the same problem and also my cruise control would not work and i replaced a one way valve on a vacum line on passenger side next to the throttle body and it works fine now. jlr25
