Default oil pressure gage

I have a 94 dodge ram 2500, with auto trans, 5.9l cummins. While driving I noticed my oil gage at 110(maxed out on gage). I also noticed that when I let off the accelerator even a little it would go down to normal. It goes up and down as the truck shifts, how far up depends on how far I push the accelerator. If I put the truck in reverse and back upit stays at normal. If I put the truck in neutral, or park and rev the engine it stays normal.

I also notice that it is actually shifting better than it has. Anyone have ideas?

Thanks
Dave

dont know dodge but you might have to hook up a different guadge and check it. 110 is kinda high. my jeep will get to 90 on the guadge cold driving . when it is hot its normal.

I found a ground wire off, reconnected it and the oil pressure problem seems to have been solved. I'll run the trucka few days and let ya know if it works.
