shifting issues
Dodge Ram 1500, 5.9L auto with 145k miles. The speed sensor is out and it will not show your speed until its really rolling in a higher gear. You have to be careful when placing it in gear to make sure its not between them but perfectly where its suppose to be. Went to move it from the gas station and I could not get it in gear, when I did it was not even near the gear the selector was pointing to. I had a horrible time getting it into park, it only wanted to go into R.
I tried to play with It just now and ended up having to set the brake as I could not find park, even though it was showing park on the selector.
Ideas? I think there are 2 separate issues, maybe a sensor AND the linkage?
