Hello all, please forgive these simple questions that I probably should already know.

My parents just got a brand new Ram truck, and was confused by a few things I noticed when browsing the manual and the settings.

1) Exactly when do you use Tow/Haul mode? They give a pretty generic answer that states something like when towing or switching gears a lot (hills are given as an example). But that brings so many question to mind. The times the car would switch gears the most is clearly all city driving. So should I be in tow mode whenever I am in a city and stopping at intersections ever 300 meters? How often do I need to be changing speeds to switch to this? Should I switch back and forth constantly if the terrains/road calls for that? Like do I switch to this mode at the bottom of every hill and then switch back after the hill if the next hill in 2km away? Do I use tow mode while towing on the 400 series highways, where I will not switching gears for an hour at a time while cruising at over 100 km/h, but will still be towing?

2) My car appears to have a cellular device imbedded in it. Am I already signed put to pay a cellular bill? Can I use it to phone people (what is my number)? Or does it only do the wifi hotspot/SOS/other very narrow and specific things and only when you pay the subscription?
