I have a truck that Iam fixing up. The speedometer cable needs to replaced. The only markings are 3358 on the axle cover. all other tags are missing. any ideas. It has a plastic plug that can be placed in 3 different way, no markings either.

 

I know RockAuto.com is selling speedometer cable for dodge...

There must be problem in cables or in speedometer. What the actual problem is and if there is problem in cables then you can get the cables from nearest dealer or on ebsy or amazon.
