Hello, I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone could tell me, or lead me to a site that explains how to replace an AC compressor for a 96 dodge ram with the5.9l gas engine. I had the shop look at it and they recharged the coolant which worked for a few weeks then ac went out again, and now they say it is the compressor and they want $600.

 

Wow... $600 is too much. Dodge Ram AC Compressor is ranging $250-$300. It is a total rip off. Or maybe the extra $400 buck is for labor. lol....
