Shibby plugs
I need to cap off a few unused plugs on the wiring harness for my 2016, and it seems like the shibby plug kit cummins has been the go-to option for a lot of people. The only problem is the price—I remember seeing them for around $50 shipped before, which made it an easy choice. Now the best prices I’m finding are around $150 plus shipping for one set and another $30 for the second set.
I definitely want to keep the connectors protected, but over $200 shipped feels a bit steep compared to just using dielectric grease and self-amalgamating tape, which would cost maybe $20 total.
Just curious what others are doing these days to protect their unused connectors.
Any good alternatives or solutions? Thanks!
