Default Front brakes

Purchased a 2002 F-150 4-wheel drive new and since owning it have replaced the front brakes and I think I might have to do it again. Are there brands better than the standard purchase at the autopart stores? Also, anyone know of a product/item that will help keep the brake dust off my rims/tires??
Love my F-150 just wish it didn't suck so much gas!!!

Default RE: Front brakes

around here (Ohio) the general auto parts stores will just get you the cheapest ones off the shelf without asking if you want better ones. They almost always have the higher quality ones in stock, you just have to specifically ask for them. As for loving ford but hating gas cunsumption, you should look at the 4 cylinder cummins diesel in 07
