Default Front Disc Brakes

I have a 2006 1500 extend cab SE bought new with only 7 miles on it now have over 6,500 miles. I have noticed while driving downhill and braking the rotors have that warped feeling when they start getting hot. My question is, are these rotors too small or of very poor quality? is there a recall on these to replace with heavy duty or bigger rotors ? and if not maybe someone needs to look into it, after all it is a safety issue. has anyone else had this problem?

I know the Nissian titan prototype first year had installed the same size rotors as the frontier, which made downhill braking very scary. There was no recall on these either and they knew there was a problem with them from the beginning.
