Paint issues

I see a lot of F-150's come through my shop and just about all of them have some sort of paint issue on the bottom left side of the kick plate. Do you guys notice it? Any explanations?

I've noticed it also. If it is a 2000-2004 150, there is a documented paint issue with those models. The best fix is to replace the corroded part with a primed steel part and paint it.
