Default Straight Axle Conversion on 2008 Ford F150

After almost a year that my truck was in the shop getting a transmission upgrade and then an engine blue print, I finally took my truck for the ultimate test. But failed due to weak links on my heavily modified 2008 Ford F150.

I was warned that my weakest link was my lower A arms, that they would go out on me sooner than later.

They were right! After less than an hour of abuse, accuse refuse and misusing my truck, the inevitable happened.

The truck is now at Off Road Evolution in Fullerton CA, getting a trilink suspension installed.

Dynatrac 60 front axle conversion with 12" king coilover shocks, and 12" king Triple Bypass Shocks.

Dynatrac 80 rear axle swap Tri-link Rear Suspension Designed and fabricate with 6 Johnny joints, 1 1/4" Uniball with misalignment and cup (whatever the hell that means but it sounds good), king 2" x 2.5 coil-overs w/springs and king 2.5 tripple bypass shocks.

Both axle will be 8 lug nuts so I also purchased 6 17" off road rims with true bead locks on 40s.

A summary in a video.
