F250 purchase-Need Advice from the Pros
Hello to all. I need some advice on which direction to take with a truck purchase. I am in need of a truck to pull my camper. I have stumbled on a 1996 Ford F250 7.3L diesel with 173,000 miles for around $4000. The truck looks to be in great shape. However, I am one who is very limited in the mechanical field and don't know a lot about engines, not to mention the fact that I do not like spending lots of time/money tinkering with vehicles. My question is this: I have zero experience with diesel engines, much less in older model vehicles. Though my budget is limited, I'd prefer a truck that is dependable and will require very little work/attention. Should the buck stop with this F250 or should I be looking at gasoline engine trucks? Thanks very much in advance for everyone's input.
As per my view F250 7.3L diesel is best for you, If you are looking used truck for towing camper because I always heard good news about F250 7.3L and my friend is also using 7.3 which is best for him for towing trailer.
For millage the 173,000 is comparatively more, I think you need to try on other truck selling website or you can contact to used truck dealers. You can get batter trucks in compare to this on $4000.
