Let us know what the garage learns from the scan tool.
Because the battery went low and the issue came after that... I think maybe a voltage regulator went bad.

Be sure to come back and update us.

Well we hooked it up to a scantool. And we got alot of codes. 3 on engiene 5 on main electrikal, airbag, trailer coupling, transmission, 4x4, these are some of them. There were about 15 codes. I can give a complete list on friday.

One strange thing that happend was that we drained both batteris in 20 min when ignition was in on during the scan. I have tested both batteries and they checked out ok. And that was 2 days ago.

Now you need a good mechanic to read those codes. Most of those codes are consequential. Which means.. When say your battery died. It created a code which in turn created 5 other related codes.
You can have a bad MAP sensor which will cause your fuel supply to turn rich that will create other codes related to your Catalytic convertor to your O2 sensor.
So many of those codes you can ignore. The challenge is to find the code that started this chain reaction of codes.
BTW your batteries should NOT have died during the code reading.
Sounds like you have one bad battery dragging the other one down too.

The mecanik have tryed to change a white conction box that is located under the steering wheel. Its function is to put the power on to diffrent things when you turn the ignition key.
This dident help, now he wants to change the cluster. A new cluster in sweden kost about 2000$
I have tryed to call some electrical repair shops to se if they can check if the cluster is ok. But they have no experiance or scematics of ford cluster. I have checked ebay for cluster but i can only find uesed ones. Any tip of how i can get my hands on a new cluster in the US?

Well in my opinion.... I think your mechanic is putting the cart before the horse, I mean it seem he might be working backwards.

If your gauges are NOT working... Pick a gauge to work on. ie: oil pressure.
Find the sending unit and test it to see if the sending unit is working.
Test the oil pressure wire at the back of the gauge cluster to insure the cluster is receiving the signal. If you have power at the back of the cluster but still nothing on the gauge, then yes you need a new gauge.

Do this to all the sending units to confirm it's the cluster

Well i am happy to say that my ford is working fine. I found the problem when i went to the workshop. I was very unhappy with the mekanic so was taking back my car. And saw a big elektric conection whit a lot of wiers, that was loose. It was under the cluster, to the right of the steering colum. How it could be loose i dont know it has a locking mecanism.

Glad to hear you found the solution. Isn't that always the way? It usually turns out to be something so simple, but the hardest thing to find
