Hi everyone,

So I just subscribed to this website today in hopes that someone on here could help me. I bought my first diesel ever about a week ago. I was driving from west Texas to Oklahoma City and twice when I hit a big bump it cut out on me and almost died and then was very sluggish for a few seconds. Anyone have any ideas on that issue??

Secondly, I got in it this morning to hook up the boat and head to the lake and it wouldnt start. It cranks over like a champ but just acts like its not gettin fuel maybe?? Its a 2005 6.0 Powerstroke. I've done a lil looking online and have heard it can be anything from an oil pressure problem to a cam sensor or fuel delivery system issues. Guys any advice would be greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance!!

 

Hey guys just wanted to give you an update on the starting issues. I finally took it in to a dealership to have them hook up the code reader as mine is not in yet. Come to find out the Control Module for the injectors is bad. $1200 fix so if you are having the same issue this is a possibility and probably the most expensive of issues ha ha!
