New to this forum, just got a 2004 f 250 xlt, crew cab 4 x 4, short bed with 88,000 miles on it. What can I expect for repairs or known problems. It has new rotorss, brakes on front, new tires ( slightly worn on front inside of both fronts, drivers side front wheel axle u joint looks new. Drivers side upper and lower ball joints new. It did act strange the other day after a hard right turn at an intersection, as steering wheel came back to center; felt like a tire was loose, corrected itself after short distance. Would this be steering damper bad? It is a factory damper; does this mean it has a snow plow package?

By the wearing on the tires and the steering issue I'd almost wonder if you aren't in 4wd?? Just a suggestion but one time we forgot the dmax was in 4wd and that pretty much was the end of the front tires
