I have a 2005 F350 6.0 Powerstroke with yet another new problem. Periodically when you go to start it it starts and runs at a very low idle and there is no gas pedal, it's just dead it won't do anything. Have to shut the truck on/off several times before it worked, any ideas of what it is? It's at the shop as we speak but they say there are no codes, what the heck good is the computer if it doesn't show aa code for a problem like this. I am getting really aggravated it was just in a week ago, souldn't find anything then teh 2nd time I go to use it it does it again so back at the shop again.

I am having the same issues with my F350. No pedal response. I have had all the recalls and the sensors changed out but still wont work. Was just wondering what they did to finally fix yours.. thanks

 

I'm having the same problem with my 2005 6.0L. Starts at low idle, shut it off and re-start. No pedal response. I'm taking it to the dealer for the computer check.
Will let you know what happens.
