Default Oil dipstick tube rusted off F250

I was wondering how to get the old oil dipstick tube off to put the new one on?
It is rusted off a few inches above the block. We already have the new tube just need to get the old one off. Thanks in advance

Dipstick tubes generally just push in, pull out. But it's never really that easy. I would try to get a pair of vice grips on the tube and tap it up from below. Try lightly twisting the vice grips back and forth while your tapping. Penetrating oil will help also. And many light, rapid taps are probably better than fewer big ones

they should make some kind of vice grip end for an impact wrench. I know too many occasions where that would be handy...

+1 on the post above
