Itr is hard to steer in idle. Once I put the pedal into the turn its fine, but much harder when idling into turn. Steering fluid is ok. What?

 

I had a similar issue with my 1991 F350 460. Valve was going bad in Steering gear box. I replaced it after it stopped turning right. It started out as you describe and got much worse in a few weeks of driving. hope this helps
