Cool Input drive shaft slack for manuall transmission

I have a 96' Ranger 2wd, 4.0 V6 extended cab, i just had a clutch failure and after dropping the tranny ther is a little slop in the input shaft for the tranny, does any one know if there is a bearing that is worn out behind the master cyinder or if it is something else?

Any info is appreciated, this danger ranger needs to be back on the road again, before the service truck gives out from being wore out from 300,000 miles being on it.

but yet Ford is First On Race Day always
