Default '05 Canyon-> No Air through vents

I have a 2005 GMC Canyon and the AC and Heat does not work. I have taken the blower out and tested it with the battery and it works and blows fine. I have also tested power going to the blower using a 12volt tester and power is going to the blower. I have also installed a new blower resistor and that did not work either.

Once again I have no AC or Heat on any of the settings (1-2-3-4). When I turn the switch to settings 1-2-3-4 the blower never turns on, but power is going to the blower and the blower works.

Is this a switch malfunction? Is the blower not recognizing that the switch has been moved from 0 to 1-2-3-4?

The only possible thing that I can think of is that the switch is broken.

Any help is appreciated.

knightdaleknights44,
I apologize you are having difficulties with your vehicle. If you would like to provide me with your VIN I would be happy to look into recall information for you. If you would like to e-mail me your VIN at socialmedia@gm.com. Have a great day!
