i am new to this site and new to this truck. I would like to do a dash conversion to my 1977 GMC K30. my options are limited to GMC trucks from 1984 and newer. i have no idea what year or truck that the dash would fit my truck. Any opinions, answers would help alot. thank you

 

1981 - 1987 are the same in the 1/2 tons, Suburbans and Blazers you can use up to 1991, and I think the C30's stayed the same to 1988. Good luck finding one that isn't cracked though. GMC and Chevy are the same for all those same years. There are still some NOS one's out there that will run $300-$500 though. Back a few years ago U-Haul still was using these same cabs and had the same dashes. Needless to say there was alot of renting and swapping going on. Not that I was any part of that, but it's just what I heard.
