my uncle just gave me his 92 1500 and i want to make it a street/strip truck it has the 302 in it but i want you opinion on what motor i should use also and good sites with parts available for this truck thanks....

 

well if ur going for speed then get a 454 with a blower supercharged
rack it out and a 700 twin tran. with a shift kit in the tran.

If your going to do a swap I think a 6.0 is your best bet. If you keep your 305 you can do a few things with it also. But im sure a 92 has some miles if not its old anyway so at least do a rebuild if you want to get any kind power out of it. I think these guys make a turbo kit that will fit your truck if not than you could go wit the second one
