I have a 2000 GMC Sierra 5.3, Z71 with leather heated seats. The seat works properly with the exception of the seat heater. The heater randomly comes on and won't shut off with the switches on the door panel even though it appears the switches work (using the lights as a way to diagnose switch problems). I can unplug the entire seat to control the seat heat.

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable just the heater without disabling the electical movement / adjustment capabilities of the seat? (Fuse, wire to cut, etc. etc.???)
