do you know if the throttle bodies between a 305 and a 350 are different?

 

no..but the injectors in em may well be...I know a 454 has a different injector....easy enough to swap though

 

minus the price of course

 

If ya take it apart,replace the fuel reg./...just about all of em on tbi's drip

 

well what it is, the injectors seem to have a more delayed injector pulse especially at idle than they used to. also hearing some kid of vacuum leak coming from around the tbi, i knoticed the throttle bore has gotten really dirty. everything else in the fuel system is new. so im thinkin a new throttle body with 350 injectors in it.

but I think the hiss is the base gasket...common on those...and 2 injectors and a fuel reg....and thats all the "wear" parts on it

 

i dont think its the base gasket, ive replaced the base gasket 2 or 3 times now and its still there.

 

ok..do you hear the hiss with the breather off?...they will suck prett loud.

could be the throttle shaft,I guess

 

yes its worse with the breather off, i didnt notice this hiss until the time i started having a cold idle problem
