Hi all, I have a spare Chevy sb that I would like to put into my 2001 Ford ranger that only has a 4 cyl in it at the moment, any info and direction in this matter would be very helpful.

I put one in my 87 toyota. No one sold kits at the time of the swap so it was a trail and error process. I built my own engine and tranny mounts. The engine mounts were made with 3/8 steel plates drilled and tapped for the mounts. The mounts were put on the engine and we lowered the whole thing into possition and tacked the plates to the stock mounts. The tranny was done in a similar fashion. Good luck with headers. I had to use block huggers.
