Same thing happened to me. 2007 Chevy burning oil over 2 quarts/1200 miles..truck starts idling rough like it is possibly going to die when idling. Next day or so the stabilitrak lite came on and felt like it was kicking in and out. (like the bottom was falling out) actually driving and lost power...It didn't lock up because the motor was still running, but I had no fuel. managed to pull onto side road and put in P then revved the gas and it was fine. dealer said blown fuse for stabilitrak, bad plug caused loss of momentum, and supposedly "fixed" the excessive oil use. $400 plus. Today opened the hood and looked like oil had blown all over the lower part of engine on the drivers side..no oil on ground...any suggestions?
