No muffler chevy problem
Hey,
I have pulled the muffler on my Chevy C1500 4.3L V6 and was happy with the sound (becasue I'm a stupid teenager of course and did it about 3 weeks ago). Now just recently (the past week) I had a little bit of problems with the truck as if it was losing a ton of power, felt quieter, and a little bit of a problem that felt like it could be the TPS going. Now, the real problem. Today I was driving home from school and had the passenger side window open. I was driving normally when a loud noise came from the truck and it got a LOT louder then then it had been running the past week. I got home and checked everything out and nothing looked to be damaged or broken.
Could it have been that the exhaust was clogged and the loud noise was it becoming unclogged? I'm a little stuck with what's going on. Any ideas would help!
Thanks,
Jake
P.S. here is the link to a video of my truck running when i got home.

Put a high flow muffler on it if your looking for more power.
If you can't afford a muffler then leave it alone.
If your catalytic converter has been gutted and you have no muffler you can cause grass fires with the hot carbon embers. It has happened before and if your caught you will be charged accordingly.
