I have a 1993 1500. The question I have is about my steering pump and/or pistons. When I try to steer it feel extremely tight, almost like there is no power steering pump, but when I apply some gas it works normaly. I was woundering if any of have had the same problem. I am guesing it either needs to be flushed and cleaned or that I need a new pump. I do not know.

 

loose belt? Or like you said pump going out.
