So I've been working on this truck a little at a time and 2 days ago I put on a shift and brake module or whatever its called and truck did fine for 2 days was coming out of park and doing fine. This morning I got in it to go to store it cranked fine came out of park and did great. Got to store and it wouldn't come out of park and I must have pulled too hard on shift handle and something broke and now shifter moves freely with no resistance and it will not come out of park. I took off bottom price of steering panel and seen that a aluminum piece or a cast piece had snapped. Has anyone dealt with this before or have any advise on repairing this.
