My Silverado has AP8 code. I currently have key fobs without the remote start button and there is no option to turn on remote start on dash display. I have an extra fob from another Silverado with the remote start button it. My friend has a Tech 2 programmer that is willing to program it for me. He has never performed that function on it. Can anyone give me instructions on how to program it? Somehow the remote start option has to be added to the dash display options and all the fobs will have to be reprogrammed.
