Default How to make my truck sound good?

Currently I have a 98 Sierra and I am looking at putting on a muffler or dual exhaust or something like that to make it sound better. I want it loud but I don't want it loud as possible. I have no idea where to start. Any help, tips, or recommendations would be great.

Thanks

I cant believe a week has gone by from you post and no replies on exhaust recomendations. Well i have an 05 silverado 5.3 and a magnaflow cat back dual exhaust. In my opinion if the stock exhaust is a 1 out of 5 in sound then the magnaflow is a 2.5-3. It sounds nice and smooth. In my opinion i would want something a little louder. Sounds good when driving but on idle its just a little louder than stock. I can always put together a sound bit for you to hear if you want.

Thanks for the reply, It would be great if you did a sound bit. If you had to pick one muffler, what would you pick?
Thanks

The best thing I can tell you to do is just go on youtube and check out all the different sound bits. Pretty much every model truck and every muffler combination is on there. Exhaust is all going to come down to personal preference, so short of actually hearing how it will sound on your truck this is about the best I can do.

Good luck!

Default Cherry Bomb

I have zoomie headers on my '90. They use the stock y pipe then go to 3". I installed a Cherry Bomb Extreme (3" in, 2 @ 2 1/2 " out.) Awesome! Disturbing the peace since 1968!
