Default Looking for a newer truck

Just here to talk trucks and looking for a newer truck and I am open to driving any make and model of truck, my 2012 RAM has been good to me until I hit 100k now I have been throwing money into it, brake lines rusted out, I had the sway bar break, i replaced the sway bar links, but I had a rear end rebuilt 2 years ago by dodge that warranty has ended this month, now I am hearing a thug noise sometimes when you let off of the gas pedal. Are the newer Rams better or what truck has fewer rear-end issues, I know this is a crazy post but it's just to talk about things no one will know what the next truck's issues will be.LOL, I have reservations for a Cybertruck but who knows where I am in line? But I don't want to be stranded pulling my boats around so I am thinking to get another one in between. I am going out driving used this weekend I just need 7,000 of towing. I am nowhere near that weight with my boats but I don't want the truck to struggle either on hills.

If you want a truck with fewer rear-end problems, here are some things to think about. Newer RAM trucks have some updates, but rear-end issues can still occur, especially with towing.

You can check the Ford F-450. It is good for towing. Ford has made updates in recent years, and you can find options that meet your 7,000 lb towing need.

Other brands like Chevrolet and GMC have similar features, but each model has its own problems. Look at any used truck closely, especially if it has been used for towing. Check for a maintenance record and repairs on parts like the rear differential and suspension.
