ok so i have a 1990 silverado, I recently decided i want to turn it into a mud truck, and i can get a good deal on tires because i work at discount tire.. so i decided on 38's, BFG mud terrains.. I also found out that my current chevy apperantly has axle problems with tires over 35's? i would have to lift it 9 inches (6 suspension, 3 body) to get the tires to fit, and i woulf have to regear it quite a bit for it to go good in the mud..

my alternative, i have found, is selling this and buying a f250 powerstroke, it has sold axels front and back, and i can suspension lift it 8 inches no problem.. with the 38's..

i would like to hear all opinions and reasons why you think one truck is better than the other for mudding..
