I just bought an 88 Chevy silverado last weekend. 350, 700r4, extended cab.

The last time I owned a chevy truck was an 83 k5 blazer, and things have changed.

So here's my dumb questions.

Is there a low fuel warning light? The gas gauge doesn't work. I may try to fix this, but for the meantime I'm wondering if this truck has a warning that comes on when I'm down to a couple gallons...

How do I fold down the rear bench seat? I felt around on the underside and couldn't find anything that seemed to do anything.

If I wanna install an aftermarket stereo, how does that work? The stock radio has controls that are definately not in a place big enough for another radio, and in the middle is a tape player with a little pocket for storage that looks like room for a regular deck...That's probably already covered on here if I looked around, so feel free to point me in the right direction.

Any cheap basic peformance upgrades? Orjust the obvious (cone air filter & exhaust)?
