Hi all, I'm looking to pick up a used 1999-2000 truck and I'm looking at the Ford f-150, Chevy 1500, and Ram 1500. I had an expedition a while back and although I didn't have many problems with it, WOW, what a nightmare to even try to do general maintenance on! I remember my old 94 Chevy full size with a 4.3, I could crawl in with the engine and close the hood!

Anyway, I like to do my own maintenance and lite repair work and just don't want to relive the Expedition experience.
Can anyone offer an opinion on which of the three is the best laid out for home auto mechanic dabblers?
