That’s a good truck to start with. For a light bar that fits in the grille or above the bumper, you can find many online or at auto stores.

Look for a LED light bar kit that says it includes a wiring harness and switch. Most kits come with everything you need: the bar, wires, switch, and brackets.

Make sure the light bar is the right size for your truck’s grille or bumper space. Most people use a 20 to 30 inch bar in that spot.

The switch can be mounted inside your cab. You run the wires through the firewall (the wall between the engine and inside of the truck).

If you're not sure how to wire it, there are simple videos on YouTube for “how to install a light bar with switch on F250.”

Or ask a friend who works on trucks or take it to a shop. It’s a good first project.
