I am currently in a dilemma on trying to find a used truck to lower my payments and get rid of my Tacoma. Love the truck just need to upsize for family purposes and other uses. I am unsure as what truck to really look for, I am looking at the F-250's because I like their size and body style, but not really sure if I should go for one or not. I am really open to any make of truck, just really fond of the F-250s because I have been around them for the majority of my youth. I am taking constant trips to Texas for family, hauling equipment and other items both ways, and would like the extra power and room. This truck would be my daily driver for work and runs to college, as well as runs around town for the wife. What I am really asking is if I should go ahead and pony up the money for a decent used diesel or go for the gas engine. Any suggestions would be helpful.
